The University of Florence, Italy and the International Cultural Research Network will host the third ICRN conference from July 12-17, 2004. Our previous conferences took place in Xian, China and Brasilia, Brazil. The conference theme is “Exploring Cultural Perspectives.” Participants wishing to present at this multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary conference are invited to submit proposals of 500 words maximum on one of the conference themes: Childhood and Youth - history, health, crime, substance abuse; Culture - theory, music, art, religion, media, politics, language; Education - primary, secondary, tertiary; Policy - public, professional, national, global; Women - rights, poverty, family, war. Please submit a maximum 250 word biography when you send the abstract. Find out more about ICRN at our website.
Abstracts are due September 15, 2003. ICRN does not use the panel method, instead we offer a one hour presentation time for you to fully discuss your research. Attendance at the conference is open to everyone. Eligibility to present research and publish in our yearly volumes and journals is restricted to ICRN members who can be independent scholars, students, professionals and practitioners.
