The Eighteenth-Century Ireland Society and the Eighteenth-Century Scottish Studies Society will meet jointly at Trinity College Dublin, 17-20 June 2004, hosted by the Centre for Irish-Scottish Studies. (Note: this represents a change in venue and dates from the conference previously announced for Belfast in May 2004).
The topic is Ireland and Scotland: Conjoined Histories.
Call for Papers
Proposals of 100 words are invited on either the central theme or topics concerned with eighteenth-century Ireland or Scotland individually.
Although the deadline for proposal submissions is 30 January 2004, proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis to facilitate arrangements for overseas travel.
Conference information will be available later in the year at the ECIS website.
