The purpose of this conference is to offer an opportunity to research students while writing their M.A. or Doctorate theses, to introduce and discuss their work with each other in with a broader public. For the next conference, 4-5 January 2004, we invite proposals for papers, panel moderation and discussions regarding of Film and History.
The proposals should relate to the student's research theme, or to a part of it, and include:
- Film and history: theoretical and methodological discussions
- Movies that made history: films as historical factors
- Historical debates in films
- Feature films as cultural and socio-historical sources
- Documentaries and historical presentation, etc.
