Papers or panels in all fields of history are welcome for the annual meeting of the FCH on March 4-6, 2004 in Lake City, Florida. Conference will feature scholarly papers, book vendors, and a banquet on Friday night, March 5. KEYNOTE SPEAKER WILL BE PROFESSOR PAUL BOYER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON.
Topics of special interest include: Civil War, modern Europe, military history, Florida history, and race/class/gender issues.
Conference will be held in Lake City, the "gateway to Florida," at the Lake City Holiday Inn (ph 386-752-3901). Selected papers will be published in the FCH PROCEEDINGS, a biannual refereed publication.
