The Mississippi Department of Archives and History will begin moving into the new William F. Winter Archives Building in September, 2003. The Archives will close to the public September 12, 2003, for approximately six weeks.

No mail queries will be received after July 30. The Grand Opening date has been set for November 7, 2003. We look forward to seeing our patrons in our new location in the near future.
