ESSAYS IN ARTS & SCIENCES (EAS), now in its 33rd year and under new
editorship, solicits unpublished manuscripts germane to the journal's
role as an outlet for "critical, provocative and innovative insights in
the arts, culture, humanities, and the broader social implications of
science". EAS, which has been an annual, becomes a semi-annual in 2004,
both issues to publish between eight and ten essays. Manuscripts from
4,000 - 7,000 words (text and notes) are preferred. EAS is fully peer
reviewed, and reports to authors within three months. Submissions should
be prepared in MS Word, following Oxford style (endnotes with full
citations). All submissions should be accompanied by a biographical
statement regarding the author(s), full contact information (email,
phone, mailing address), and an abstract. Submissions via as email
attachments are much preferred, and should be to Marianna Vieira,
Editor, via email.
