We are inviting academic contributors to round out our roster of outstanding contributors to The Encyclopedia of Intelligence & Counterintelligence, to be published by M.E. Sharpe.
The Encyclopedia comprises some 470 articles in two volumes about the history of international intelligence operations, signed by each author. Articles cover the historical contexts of espionage in terms of countries, wars, people, agencies, and events. The General Editor for the encyclopedia is Dr. Rodney P. Carlisle, Professor Emeritus, Rutgers University, who reviews all articles for academic consistency.
If you are interested in contributing to the encyclopedia, there is a small honorarium paid for each article, $25 to $135, depending on article length (300 words to 5,000 words). Each contributor needs to write 5 to 10 articles by July 1, 2003.
As a next step we e-mail you the article list (Word file) from which you can select topics that best fit your expertise and time constraints. (Note: we are mainly seeking academic writers, Ph.D. or ABD, associated with colleges or universities. We have a number of retired intelligence officers as contributors that need academic balance.)
Please let me know if you would like to contribute to The Encyclopedia of Intelligence & Counterintelligence by contacting me by e-mail or phone (below). Thanks very much.
