MA Programme Eastern Christianity. The Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Theology of Leiden University in the Netherlands co-operate in the MA Programme Eastern Christianity. Dutch as well as international students are invited to apply for participation in this programme. The courses are designed for an international group of talented and motivated students. The teaching is directly linked to ongoing research. Agreements for student exchange exist with several institutes in the Netherlands as well as abroad, such as the Institute of Eastern Christian Studies (IVOC) at Nijmegen, the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo (NVIC), the Netherlands Institute for Academic Studies in Damascus, and the Saint Ephrem Ecumenical Research Institute (SEERI) in Kottayam, India. Depending on the programme specialisation, courses are also followed at the Leiden Faculty of Social Sciences.
