The Midwest Popular Culture Association will be meeting at the Marriott Minneapolis City Center Hotel, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 17-19, 2003. The Teaching Popular Culture Area is seeking papers devoted to all aspects of teaching popular culture including methods, pedagogies, and strategies, course development and curricula as well as teaching philosophies, narratives, and “good practices.” Proposals of diverse educational levels (K-12, community college, college/university, etc.) are welcome.
Submit one-page descriptions with title and summary (by post, FAX, or e-mail) to the contact below. All proposals should include contact information as well as audio-visual equipment requests: Name; Complete mailing address; School/professional affiliation; Telephone number; E-mail address (preferred); FAX number; Audio-Visual Equipment: VCR and/or Slide Projector only.
