This conference aims to help educators integrate New York City history into their classroom.
Teachers who have developed successful lessons will lead workshops, panels and discussions to demonstrate their projects.
Cultural institutions (museums, historical societies, preservationists, television producers and newspapers) will share model programs, primary sources, cutting edge videos, websites, slide and PowerPoint presentations, and lesson plans that can be tailored to classroom curricula.
All presentations address the New York City and New York State mandated Learning Standards.
Must register by fax or online.
