Join us for a symposium about the wide variety of career opportunities within university libraries, co-sponsored by Yale University Library and Graduate Career Services. The US currently faces a national shortage of academic librarians that threatens to become a crisis before long. Six panelists, all PhDs, will discuss their work, their career satisfactionresearch, teaching, publishing, travel, professional mobilityand how the degree can facilitate a move to academic librarianship. The availability of funds for internships and career opportunities within the Yale University Library system and beyond will feature in the discussion.
