Abstracts are invited for the Fifth Native American Symposium to be held November 13-15, 2003 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. The symposium’s theme is Native Being < > Being Native: Identity and Difference. Papers and presentations are desired on a wide variety of Native American topics, including but not limited to history (documentary or oral), autobiography, literature, mythology, film, cultural studies, contemporary affairs, education, psychology, sociology, anthropology, and the fine arts. Send one-page abstracts by June 1, 2003 in either hard-copy or electronic form to Mark B. Spencer at the address below.
