The Francis C. Wood Institute for the History of Medicine presents two papers by Ph.D. candidates in History and Sociology of Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
Hilary Smith will discuss: "Is There Anything Traditional about Traditional Chinese Medicine? Twentieth-Century Changes in the Theory and Practice of Zhongyi"
S. Ryan Gregory will present: "Dead Right: Technology, Autopsy and the Concept of Accuracy in the Early Twentieth Century"
