The Japan Center for Michigan Universities (outside of Kyoto) will host a conference in April of 2004
Japan in Comparative Context
We are looking for presenters in the fields of philosophy, the history of ideas, sociology, political science, anthropology and other disciplines to be coupled with talks already arranged on environmental science and literature. The presentations should be one hour in length. A paper to be included in a conference proceedings for publication will also be required. Papers of a comparative nature will be given preference.
