The Death of Rodrigues Lives! This panel will revisit a mostly forgotten classic of late nineteenth century war correspondence -- Richard Harding Davis' evocative "Death of Rodriguez." The article, which described the execution of an insurgent during Cuba's rebellion against Spanish colonial rule, was first published in William Randolph Hearst's New York Journal in February 1897.
