CALL FOR PAPERS
Canadian Ethnic Studies Association (CESA)
17th Biennial Conference
ETHNICITY: SPACE AND PLACE
Banff Centre, Banff Alberta
October 2-5, 2003
Conference organizers welcome papers, abstracts or proposals for
sessions / panels / presentations that address the topics of ethnicity,
immigration, diversity, multiculturalism, etc. in Canada from a variety
of perspectives, academic disciplines, and areas of study, including the
humanities and the arts, as well as the social sciences.
For example, proposals are invited that address the topic of minority
literary voices. What spaces are they creating? What places do they
occupy in the country's literary landscape?
Abstracts should be approximately 250 words and presentations will
normally be 20 minutes in length.
Graduate students are encouraged to make submissions.
