CALL FOR PAPERS Journal for Studies on Turkey (Issue: Fall 2003 )

Published since 1988, Journal for Studies on Turkey (Zeitschrift für Türkeistudien) is a forum for scholarly discussion published by Center for Studies on Turkey, an Institute at the University of Essen (Zentrum für Türkeistudien Institute an der Universität Essen)

• The thematical points of the journal are:
  Socio-economic and political developments within Turkey; trade and political relations of Turkey to its neighbors and the European Union. General immigrant-research within the Federal Republic of Germany and other European nations (main focus: foreign pensioners, foreign companies, foreigners as customers; foreign media; Islam in the immigration, etc.)
• The Regions under Focus are:
  Turkey, Middle Asia, the Balkans, Germany, the European Union

Articles and book reviews related to these fields are requested for submission by Monday 1 June 2003.

Contributions in German, French and English are welcome.
