North Louisiana Historical Association invites graduate and undergraduate students to submit papers for the W. Darrell Overdyke competition. Papers must relate directly to the history of Louisiana north of Alexandria. Undergraduate and graduate winners will each have their papers published in the journal North Louisiana History, receive a $100 cash prize, and a free subscription to the journal. Manuscripts should be submitted on a 3.5 inch disk in Microsoft WORD format to the address below. Papers must conform to the guidelines of the Chicago Manual of Style. All manuscripts must be double spaced. Footnotes are preferred, but endnotes are accepted. The author should also include a hard copy of the manuscript. To insure anonymity, the author's name should appear only on the title page.
