I looking for panelists for a session about the USDA Forest Service. In 2005, the agency will be celebrating 100 years of its rich history. 2005 marks the change in name from the Bureau of Forestry to the Forest Service, as well as the takeover of management of the national forests from the Department of the Interior. I would like to have a series of papers about the agency, leaders, Congress, interest groups, laws, accomplisments, controversies, etc. for the early years and/or the last century. This could be an opportunity to contrast U.S. Forest Service with the Canadian Forest Service.
