News from IEG-MAPS
We are pleased to announce to the internet community, especially to our registered guests all over the world, that in March 2003 a large number of new maps and animations have been placed on our server:
- The series "Railways in Germany 1835 to 1885" has been extended from 1866 to 1885, yearly increments are mapped until 1870. The relevant gif-animation now runs to 1885. This ends the theme for the time being.
- As part of a new thematic emphasis a number of series on the political development of Europe since 1820 have been placed on the server:
- Europas as whole (2 series)
- Larger European regions (5 Series)
- Outline maps
The series run up to 1914 at the moment and will be extended in the future.
IEG-MAPS will be present at the world'd leading computer technology trade fair CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, from March 12 - March 19, 2003. Should you be there, do stop by at Hall 11, Booth D46 (exhibit of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate)
