WOMEN AND COUNTRY: RURAL LIFE, LANDSCAPE AND NATION. SATURDAY, 28 JUNE 2003. University of Exeter, Postgraduate Centre, Clydesdale House

Papers are invited for this one day conference organised by the West of England & South Wales Women’s History Network. Proposals from postgraduate students and independent researchers are particularly welcomed, and ideas for panels or workshops may also be submitted. The theme of the conference offers scope for a broad range of papers from any historical context or period. Please send abstracts of not more than 300 words, outlining your topic, with a title if possible, to reach us by 25 April 2003. They should be sent to:
