The Policy History Student: An Online Graduate Student Journal in Policy History
A group of graduate students, under the oversight of the faculty in the Department of History at Bowling Green State University, are organizing a refereed online journal in policy history specifically for graduate students. We are seeking polished papers based on extensive primary research on any aspect of policy history, in any time period, and about any geographic region. We are especially interesting in receiving submissions from different disciplinary perspectives. These perspectives include but are certainly not limited to economics, sociology, political science, American studies, philosophy, urban studies, or education. We hope to attract papers that address a broad range of topics and that encompass subjects from the traditional fields of diplomacy and public policy to works that analyze corporate and private sector activity that impact society, politics, or the economy. Please remember that this is a history journal and all papers are expected to examine topics from a historical perspective or within a historical context. Papers should be 20-25 pages of double-spaced text with endnotes formatted according the Chicago Manual of Style. Please submit your papers to the addres below.
The organizing committee is also interested in generating a pool of scholars from a number of different policy areas to act as referees. Those interested in performing this function should contact either Matthew Daley or Peter Genovese via email for more information.
