Philippe Burrin’s lectures, in French, will each be held the amphitheater of the Collège de France (11, place Marcelin-Berthelot, F-75005 Paris) at 6.00 pm.
A former student of Saul Friedländer, Philippe Burrin is Professor of Contemporary History at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales (Geneva University), where he teaches courses on History of International Relations in 19th and 20th centuries, on both World Wars, and on political ideas and movements (mostly dealing with extreme right groups).
His main research fields are:
- Fascism, Nazism, Antisemitism
- Military occupations
- Nazi Europe
