I am writing on behalf of the MLA's Graduate Student Caucus. If you don't know about our organization, we run a listserv, E-GRAD@hermes.gwu.edu, which we welcome you to join if you'd like to discuss issues related to graduate study in literature and modern languages. We also have several professional opportunities I'd like you to know about. We host a session at each MLA annual convention, and now, we're asking for our listserv members to propose panel topics. Last year, our session on dealing with debt while in grad school was highly engaging. I welcome interested folks to join our listserv and to propose topics for consideration. Also, we are accepting nominations for the GSC VP position. If you'd like to nominate yourself or a colleague, please join the list and do so. Please contact me, Jean Schulte (Pres.
