Oxford is a city rich in history and rich in the dialogue between science and spirit. Join us for a two-week residency program held at Harris Manchester College. This course is designed as both introduction and immersion. The program includes a host of guest speakers, cutting edge thinkers who offer us their time and expertise to share in the exploration of new ideas. The residency balances a mixture of speakers, seminar readings, learner presentations, and small group discussions with daily outings to sample some of the best of Oxford culture and history. Learners are encouraged to use the residency as a place to begin or continue to articulate the research questions they pursue in the online courses, or use the residency as an opportunity to test out their ideas in a climate of creative exploration. With Oxford as a base, on weekends learners can venture to London, Bath, Stonehenge, Stratford-upon-Avon, or Cambridge to visit other sites of historical and social interest.

The Oxford Institute for Science and Spirit is a fully credited program offering graduate level courses in Science and Spirit. Courses emphasize two main areas of thought: Spirituality and the Sciences, through an exploration of the Biological, Human and Physical Sciences and Spirit of Place which deals with courses on People, Place and Story, Ecospirituality, Wildness and Creativity.
