TRACES announces its second WWII-Era POW Conference to be held from 30 May to 2 June 2003 at Coe College in Cedar Rapids/Iowa. We welcome proposals for presentations to be offered at the conference by Mar 7.

We especially welcome presentations about U.S., British, French, Soviet, Polish, Japanese and Italian POWs, as the experience of German POWs has been and will be again well covered. We also welcome nominations for the keynote speaker--either from others or from a given would-be speaker her- or himself. Former German POWs now living in the U.S. and former U.S. Army personnel who worked at camps are expected to attend the gathering, as well as scholars in history, archeology, and other research areas.
