The Virginia Tech History Department and History Graduate Student Association will sponsor a publishing seminar on February 22nd, 2003. The event will feature Kathleen McDermott, Editor at Harvard University Press, and Paul Levengood, Managing Editor at Virginia Magazine of History and Biography. This is an ideal opportunity for new historians to learn about the inner workings of the publishing industry. These industry professionals will offer tips as to how to get your work published, whether it be your dissertation, thesis or a journal article. The event will be on the Virginia Tech Campus, in Blacksburg, Virginia at Torgerson Hall. Registration is free, but space is limited, so please contact the Virginia Tech History Department or Sara Eye via email for more information.
