The Erasmus Institute presents a two week seminar (meals, lodging, and transportation provided) on Holy Cross College campus led by Geoffrey Hartman (English and Comparative Literature, Yale University). This faculty seminar runs concurrently with younger scholar seminars in Art History and History.

The first two sessions will concentrate on interpretation theory and will include an exploration of midrash. The remaining sessions will focus on close readings of poems.

Deadline for applications is 17 February 2003; applications will continue to be accepted until the seminar is full. Open to all disciplines.
