Dr. Kathryn Weathersby, a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholarship and past fellow of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, is an expert on the translation and analysis of Russian documents concerning the Cold War with special consideration of the Soviet involvement in the Korean War. Her publications, mostly through the Bulletin of the Wilson Center, are too numerous to mention, but include some of the most insightful interpretations of Soviet-American confrontations during the Cold War. Her keynote address will consider some of the most recent developments emerging from the translation of Soviet documents. Co-sponsored with the Center for the Study of the Korean War as part of their "War and Media" conference.
