The doctoral students in Comparative Literature of the Université de Montréal are pleased to announce the launch of Post-Scriptum.ORG, an electronic journal promoting discussion in cultural studies. Its first issue is online since October 2002. It is a scholarly journal aiming for a wide readership in diverse fields, with comparative literature at the crossroads of national literatures, film studies, art history, gender and cultural studies.
Although published in French and English, its editorial committee covers German, Hispanic, Italian, and other literatures. Our aim is to do away with geographical as well as linguistic boundaries, with scholarship as our only criteria for selection. To this end, Post-Scriptum.ORG provides an international as well as interdisciplinary forum for student scholars. It will publish articles on cultural theories, world literature, and other areas and relating to other media.
