Larry Edmonds is a historical presenter. Come meet the first governor of the state of Arizona, George Wiley Paul Hunt. Larry will actually “be” Gov. Hunt in this Chautauqua performance and will give us insight on Hunt’s life as governor of the new state
Edmonds is an active participant on the Arizona Humanities Council’s
Speakers Bureau and is a member of the Western States Communication
Association, the American Folklore Society, the Society for Ethnomusicology, and the Society for American Music. In addition to Hunt, Larry presents Chautauqua performances of other historical figures, such as Carl T. Hayden, Barry Goldwater and William Mulholland. He is also on the faculty at Arizona State University and Phoenix College.
