"Ohio Valley History," a new academic journal focusing on the history and culture of the Ohio Valley region, will begin publishing in spring 2003. The Filson Historical Society of Louisville, the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, and the University of Cincinnati are pleased to announce their partnership in publishing "Ohio Valley History." This new quarterly will replace the existing journals of the Cincinnati Museum Center and The Filson Historical Society.

The new journal will print articles, photo essays, and reviews of books, movies and exhibits relating to the greater Ohio Valley. "Ohio Valley History" will be published four times a year, with issues ranging in length from 72 to 96 pages.
