The Society for Italian Studies and the Italian Department at the University of Edinburgh are proud to announce the third edition of the SIS Postgraduate Colloquium which will take place on 24 May 2003 at the University of Edinburgh.
The aim and spirit of the SIS Postgraduate Colloquium is to offer postgraduate students in Italian Studies from all over Europe, and possibly beyond, a friendly, stimulating forum where to present their work in progress and obtain good feedback from both their peers and those members of staff who wish to attend the event.
This is a one-day colloquium, registration-fee free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Proposals for papers on any aspect of Italian Studies are invited from postgraduates. Papers can be in Italian or English and should last for approximately twenty minutes. Abstracts of c.300 words, together with a short biography indicating your academic background and research interests, should be sent via mail or email by 21 March 2003 to the address below.
