Dr. Barbara Ehrenreich, activist and scholar, will present the keynote address at the Seventh Annual Conference on Holidays, Ritual, Festival, Celebration, and Public Display, May 29-31, 2003, on the campus of Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43403. She will be speaking on "the politics of festivities and ecstatic rituals" from Dionysian rituals in the ancient Mediterranean to fan behavior at modern sporting events.
