This panel will focus on the relationships between identity, community, and radical social movements during the Vietnam War years. Current papers address how issues of gender and sexuality shaped cultures of protest by exploring the personal benefits gained and the difficulties encountered by participating in various communities of resistance.
We are looking for a third paper to join the panel. If you are interested, please send a one-page abstract and one-page CV via e-mail to the address below by January 21, 2003. If you have questions, please e-mail me directly.
