In 2003, Canadian-American Slavic Studies, published by Charles Schlacks, Jr., will publish a special edition of the journal to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Famine (Holodomor), 1932-1933. We are interested in publishing articles, documents, book reviews, and archival materials. Canadian-American Slavic Studies publishes in Ukrainian, Russian, English, French, or German.

Open to graduate students and independent scholars, as well as those of the Ph.D. level. Please submit graduate papers with a letter of recommendation from the relevant professor stating how the paper contributes to the historiography of the Famine.
