Participants are needed for a proposed panel for the 34th Annual NECLAS Conference (at Dartmouth College, October 18, 2003). This panel is seeking papers on the topic of "The Rise of the Professional Politician in 20th Century Latin America: New Perspectives." Panel proposals are due at NECLAS on January 22; please send paper title and a one-paragraph abstract via email. Papers from all academic disciplines are welcome.
