The conference begins at the Historical Society on the evening of Thursday, March 20th, with a panel discussion featuring individuals involved in civic affairs during the Wagner years. The conference continues all the next day at the College of Staten Island, and includes sessions on Intergroup Relations, Wagner and the Democratic Party, and an assessment of the Wagner legacy and urban liberalism. Confirmed participants include Julius C.C. Edelstein, Herman Badillo, Ruth Messinger, and Ed Costikyan. Fred Siegel, Vincent Cannato, Clarence Taylor and Wendell Pritchett have also agreed to participate.
