The Journal of Peace and Democracy in South Asia (JPDSA) is an independent international multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal of peace and democracy in the region comprised by Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Articles across the range of scholarly disciplines and from different intellectual perspectives are invited for publication consideration. Peace and democracy are regarded as interdependent and mutually reinforcing processes with domestic, regional and international implications. Submissions may take the form of original articles from across the range of scholarly including, but not limited to:
- anthropology
- economics
- history
- public administration
- political science
- religion and sociology
- editorials on topics of vital current interest
- book reviews of individual books and thematic book reviews for multiple titles
- research notes on research in progress
- letters to the editor
