On January 7, 2003, Thirteen/WNET, The New-York Historical Society, and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History are holding a special event for teachers at The New-York Historical Society. The program will focus on the television series, Freedom: A History of US (airing on PBS in January), the exhibition of rare historical documents of the same name at The New-York Historical Society, and related websites as educational tools. Participants may obtain teacher credit. Space is limited for this event, so reservations are required.
