Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) and the NEIU Linguistics
Department are proud to host the 15th Conference of the International
Society for Humor Studies (ISHS), which will be held July 8-12, 2003, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Celebrating Chicago’s and NEIU’s diversity, the 15th Conference of the ISHS, welcomes proposals reflecting diversity in humor whether socially, functionally, ethnically, nationally, or situationally. Proposals for papers, colloquia, posters, and workshops will be refereed by ISHS members, who will inform the submitters of their decisions by February 28, 2003. The deadline for all submissions is January 15, 2003. All conference information is available on our website.
