Theme ~ "World History in Texas: New Horizons"
This year's Spring Conference specifically addresses the needs of middle and secondary school teachers, and will explore recent trends in TEKs standards as well as any issues of concern to the membership.
You are warmly encouraged to submit proposals that focus on sharing ideas and methods of teaching with your colleagues, for example, class presentations, strategies for teaching AP World History and panels on world-historical issues, use of media, textbooks selection. These topics, among others, are welcome.
In addition, all PAPERS concerned with World History are welcome.
PRESENTATIONS
- Proposals for complete panels are encouraged.
- Conference presentations should not exceed twenty minutes and papers should be limited to ten pages.
The Deadline for Submissions of Proposals is February 3, 2003.
