The American Zoo Association Central Regional Workshop, April 30 - May 3, 2003, is focusing on zoo history, small zoos, and education. We are interested in proposals from scholars who work with their local zoo in their course preparation, or are studying any aspect of zoo education, zoos and community, or zoo history.
Our goal is to bring together the scholarly community with zoo professionals to identify and foster collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts. For further information or to discuss ideas contact either Elizabeth Frank or Nigel Rothfels, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, (414) 229-6041, firstname.lastname@example.org.
