Prof. Cohen teaches contemporary history at the Université du Québec à Montréal. This semester at Princeton she is teaching “Gender and the Welfare Regimes in Canada, France and the USA.” Professor Cohen's books include Profession Infirmière: Une historie des soins dans les hôpitaux du Québec; Femmes de Parole: L'historie des Cercles de fermières du Québec; and Les Jeunes, le socialisme et la guerre: Historie des mouvements de jeunesse en France.
