Austrian fascisms (1933-1938) and film will be for the first time discussed by historians, film scientist and journalsits. The film productions and film genres of this period will be presented and scrutinized. Scientists and journalsit will also talk about the problem of using this onesided film sources in documentary films, how to work with contemporary witnesses and about creating "images of history".

By the way, the Filmarchiv Asutria will present it´s latest publication and viedo project about the Austrian fascist newsreel, so-called "Österreich in Bild und Ton".
