Goals of this conference are:
- to raise awareness of the trafficking of persons;provide a forum for those who work with immigration issues, academians, researchers, law enforcement agencies, human rights activists,etc.
- create a Regional network with links to national and international organizations already providing services for the victims of trafficking
- to look for alternative economic options for trafficked persons and those at-risk of being trafficked.
