The Milton Plesur Conference is dedicated to interdisciplinary approaches to history. Conference papers/panels are not limited by discipline, geography, theme or chronology.
Papers will be organized but not limited to the following:
- The Body and the History of Sexuality
- Ethnicity and Race
- Class and Labor
- Gender
- Cultural and Intellectual History
- The History of Science and Medicine
- The History of Ideas, Theory or Methodology
- Policy Studies
Please send abstracts of no more than 250 words or an outline of a panel presentation of 3 papers to either the address or email provided below.
The Deadline for Submission is: December 31st, 2002.
The conference will run February 21st-23rd, 2003 at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
On February 21st, 2003, Dr. David Thelen, former editor of the Journal of American History and Professor at Indiana University will give the Keynote paper.
