The James A. Barnes Club, Temple University’s graduate student history organization, is pleased to announce the Eighth Annual Barnes Club Conference. The conference will be held on Saturday, 22 February 2003 at Temple University’s Main Campus in historic Philadelphia.

Topics relating to American, European, World and Comparative History will be considered. We also welcome projects dealing with both theory and pedagogy.

Please send a short précis as well as a curriculum vita to Matthew Muehlbauer by 31 December 2002. Submissions may be made electronically or by postal mail to the addresses below.

Participants will be notified of acceptance no later than 22 January 2003. Completed papers are due by 8 February 2003. Please note that there is no financial assistance available for conference participants. For more information about the James A. Barnes Club, visit our website.
