The Greenwood Publishing Group is developing a series of reference books on the first 50 years of rock music in American culture. The volumes in this series will be marketed to high school, college, and public libraries. Authors are sought for volumes on:

• 1951-1959 Early Rock
• 1960-1966 The British Invasion Era
• 1967-1973 Glam, Heavy Metal, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock and Southern Rock
• 1974-1980 Corporate Rock, New Wave, and Punk Rock
• 1981-1990 The MTV Era
• 1991-2001 Grunge, Post-Grunge, and Hip-Hop Metal

Authors will receive competitive royalties on sales of their volumes. The ideal candidates will have publishing credits and/or experience teaching courses in American popular/rock music.
