The 17th Annual Deep Delta Civil War Symposium explores "Taking the War to the Yankees: Confederate Offensive Operations in the American Civil War" Friday June 13 and Saturday June 14, 2003 on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Nationally recognized historians present individual papers addressing this topic and field questions from the audience in a round-table discussion. Acomodations thru local Holiday Inn and meals provided on campus at reasonable rates.
